The facelifted Ferrari FF has been spotted testing on international roads prior to its launch in 2016. The test mule can be seen with subtle visual updates, but major changes are expected under the hood.
The 6.3-litre V12 engine is likely to be retained, but it is expected that Ferrari will tune it to deliver more power than what it currently puts out (651bhp). The current seven-speed dual-clutch transmission could be replaced by a new eight-speed unit. The FF’s four-wheel-drive system is also likely to receive an upgrade.
Cosmetically, the front is tweaked thanks to an enlarged front grille and air intake. Inside, updates to the FF’s cabin are expected to focus on an updated infotainment system – which could be taken from the California T – as well as new finishes and materials.
Ferrari recently confirmed its return to the Indian market, and it will likely offer this facelifted FF in our markets too, when it’s launched in 2016.
